Another good solution would be to use Ashland Place as an underground connection from the BMT 4th avenue line to the IND Fulton street line, and then utilizing the part of the Rockaway Beach line going NORTH into Queens. This line could also either connect with a Ditmars Blvd. extension, or form part of an extension going into the Bronx, covering the Throggs Neck area. While at it, why not connect it up to the extended 2nd avenue line (3rd avenue in the Bronx), where it could also connect with the D train from Norwood?!
